Our Lucart
Packaging Programme
The Lucart Packaging Programme reflects Lucart's commitment, and in particular that of the Lucart Professional brand, to adopting innovative technologies for the production of the primary and secondary packaging included in the programme, using an increasingly high percentage of recycled material, whether paper or plastic.
As evidence of this commitment, within the framework of the initiative, all boxes and roll cores are made from 100% recycled paper; paper packaging contains 80% recycled fibres, while plastic packaging is made with at least 60% recycled plastic.
Our Certifications
EU Ecolabel certifies that products comply throughout their entire life cycle with strict environmental protection criteria shared by all European Union countries: reduced water pollution, reduced air pollution, reduced greenhouse gas emissions and low electricity consumption.

FSC™ Recycled identifies products made with recycled paper. FSC™ is an international non-governmental organisation promoting the responsible use of forest resources.

Products with the PEFC certification logo guarantee that the management of forests from which the pulp is sourced complies with environmental and social sustainability requirements defined at European level.

All EcoNatural products manufactured at Lucart’s Laval-sur-Volgone site are Cradle to Cradle® certified, the global standard that defines the quality and safety of products manufactured for the circular economy. Cradle to Cradle® certification testifies that a product is eco-designed for infinite recycling and therefore beneficial for the environment in every stage of its life cycle, from design to use and reuse.

Products with the OK Compost Industrial certification logo, owned by TÜV Austria and recognised across Europe, are guaranteed biodegradable and compostable in an industrial composting plant, including their components, inks and additives, in compliance with the requirements of standard UNI EN 13432.

Blue Angel is the certification for products and services that meet high environmental, health and performance standards. Products are always assessed from a life cycle perspective.

ReMade in Italy® is the first product certification in Italy and Europe accredited to determine the recycled material content in finished products. The ReMade in Italy® label also highlights the lower environmental impact of using recycled instead of virgin material.

TÜV AUSTRIA OK Recycled ensures that a product’s recycled content information is reliable, objective and easily identifiable, as required by EN 15343 and ISO 14021.
